Lisa Lang is a certified coach and a marketing/communications consultant.  She has 25 years of experience as a business executive, creating award-winning results in marketing and corporate communications for a variety of industries, including professional sports, telecommunications, software and cloud computing.  As a corporate spokesperson, Lisa has been featured in dozens of print and television interviews and has been instrumental in helping companies shape their message strategy.

Certified by the International Coaching Federation and as an Integral Coach by New Ventures West, she draws on decades of experience to help individuals and leaders build their capabilities in the following areas: leadership development, career transitions, and personal growth.  She has been instrumental in guiding leadership teams in both startups and large companies as they develop their capabilities to achieve their goals.

Examples of a few of her high-profile accomplishments:

  • As the first female executive with The San Francisco 49ers, she successfully led the 49ers marketing and election campaign to win public approval for the new $1 billion NFL stadium development in Santa Clara, thereby securing the team’s future in the SF Bay Area. She also managed the 49ers Foundation, community/fan engagement programs and media relations acting as the off-the-field spokesperson for TV, radio and print interviews.
  • As a member of the executive team at Intuit, she led Corporate and Marketing Communications, successfully overseeing the marketing/ PR campaigns for its consumer and small business products. She spearheaded the effort to establish the company’s privacy policies, founded the Intuit Foundation, created a new brand strategy, and shaped the company’s marketing and communications transition from software-in-a-box to web-based services.

  • After a successful career as a business leader in Fortune 500 companies, Lisa then took a different path and joined a start-up in Silicon Valley as the SVP of Marketing.   At Bill.com, she built the marketing team and created the operation from scratch including messaging, positioning campaign, website and lead generation programs.

  • She began her corporate career at Pacific Bell (now AT&T) where she was a Vice President overseeing 90+ professionals and the launch of new lines of business including voice mail, internet services and cellular phones. She developed the business ethics training program and worked closely with the SF Giants on Pacific Bell’s partnership; unveiling one of the most popular naming rights deals in sports.

Lisa also has a passion for her volunteer work with foster children.  As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) she volunteers with foster children taking them on adventures throughout the San Francisco area. She also reports to the judge on the quality of their care and educational progress. Lisa and her husband live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have two adult children.
